Environmental

We drive forward-looking initiatives to contribute to the regeneration of the planet.

Climate Change

At Davivienda, we are committed to one of the most critical issues for the planet: climate change.

We manage climate change as a cross-cutting issue within the organization. Our strategy is strengthened through processes, products, programs, and initiatives that allow us to contribute with concrete measures for mitigation and adaptation, aiming to transition towards a resilient, low-carbon economy with positive outcomes for nature.

We integrate guidelines set forth by:

SARAS

We identify and mitigate environmental and social risks in the financing of projects and sensitive sectors.

The Environmental and Social Risk Management System (SARAS) is part of Davivienda's risk management framework; it includes policies and procedures aimed at assessing credit granting in corporate, construction, and business segments, evaluating investment decisions, and managing strategic suppliers.

The SARAS Methodology establishes policies regarding amounts and terms, sensitive activities, and local regulations. It is aligned with the standards, performance norms, and exclusion list of the International Finance Corporation - IFC. This includes the assessment of risks related to climate change and human rights.

Eco-efficiency

At Davivienda, we have a strong commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of our processes and making the world a greener place.

The objective of our eco-efficiency strategy is to achieve efficient use of natural resources and contribute to climate change mitigation through programs and initiatives that integrate a culture of efficiency and the use of technological solutions within the organization.

We strengthen our sustainability culture through environmental education.

Through our "Environmental Leaders and Managers" program, we have promoted an environmental and sustainable culture.
